My client recommended Sam to me years ago and I have never been disappointed. Sam's Auto is the ONLY auto service station that treated me with honestly, respect while doing great work at a reasonable price. In my view, Sam's Auto is the ONLY place to go to maintain or repair your vehicle in the Willamette Valley.
Finding an auto shop you can trust is like finding a doctor. I know almost nothing about cars. Sam's has been good to me and has done the work right. It's not the most high end shop, there may occasionally be something you'll have to go elsewhere for. My wife's car had to go to the dealer once because Sam's didn't have the right machine for testing, but I can understand a small shop not being able to buy some $10,000 machine.
Had a less than enjoyable experience just a week ago. There is a new man as the the counter that has absolutely no idea what he is doing. He was curt, rude and berated both of us. He was amazingly slow and when we picked the car up there were two people in the office, including the office manager and my fav guy and neither of them even looked up. Finally my husband asked for the keys. It is unfortunate because a great business recommended this place but I was amazed how bad it was in the end. Bad taste is still there... Won't go back or recommend.
They get pretty busy now, so I recommend making an appointment several days in advance.
For 20 years, I've used the same mechanic, and followed him over to Sam's, many years ago. I have always had exceptional service provided by this honest business. I will continue as a loyal customer as long as they're around.
Sam's auto service is thorough and patient. He is my "go to" mechanic. I am elderly and not able to do any of the work on my car and I trust this auto shop.
