I rate Briggs a five, not because I went here but because of the staff. The staff teach from their hearts and souls and they inspire us to do our bests in the classroom and out in the real world. I experienced this first hand with two teachers, Ginny Hoke and Amy Brooks. I thank them both so much for always being there and for always supporting me through the rough times!! Thank you to Johannah Robinson as well, I want to thank her for helping me with math and getting my fiesty spirit and all the fun times. Thank you Briggs.
This is the best school I've ever been to with amazing teachers plus the office people and for sure the 8th grade teachers for sure are my favorite like Mrs Brooks and Mr Harshburger and Mrs chamness.
I was there on the 5th it was very nice I will be going to Briggs next year ill be in sixth grade
The principal gossips with the office staff instead of doing their jobs, they even gossip with students and parents in the room able to hear their gossip. The vice principal actual does her job but since she is the only one of the office staff doing her job she is way over whelmed and over worked. The teachers do drugs on their time off possible even when they are at school, they have one staff member that thinks she needs to be way to involved with the students but if the students don't want to tell her anything then she writes them up for some lame reason. This school and it's district are only concerned about their next paycheck that is paid by anyone who pays taxes in Springfield, they don't care about the students or their education. Will never allow any of my children to attend this school ever again worst nightmare ever.
A decent place to send your kids. The teachers are usually great, but it has its own quirks just like any other school. Definitely give it a look before making any decisions about if it's the right school for you.
