This cute little mom n' pop restaurant is placed just outside of town making for a couple miles of scenic drive, plastering the walls are hilarious sayings and souvenirs and the staff makes you feel like you are part of the family. Just about everything is homemade and cooked to order. We loved our first experience so much, we brought family who came to visit from Arizona and they fell in love. Thank you to the staff at McKenzie Stage Stop for making both experiences truly memorable. As a cook myself, you absolutely blew me out of the water. I DEFINITELY recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they really can do it all!

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on a whim one evening, of course right as they were getting ready to close. They graciously accepted our order and promptly started it. I can't think of her name but the cook, short blonde and oh so sweet, told us all about the specials, soups and even let me in on a secret menu item to which I happily obliged. I ordered the "Adult Grilled Cheese" which included bacon and bleu cheese crumbles with the steak and potato soup on the side and my boyfriend had the Western Burger. At one point, she poked out of the kitchen and motioned for my beau to "come here" into the kitchen where she showed him his burger cooking to absolute mouthwatering perfection. He came back to the counter where I sat wide-eyed and described it as only the best he'd ever seen. When we finally arrived home with our food, we were so happily satisfied and deemed this place ours to come back to.
Love this place, it's our new fun stop for good food at a great price!
