He isn't polite over the phone, at all. I politely asked about a house for rent, he said he's making a contract on it today. I said "ok thank you" and he just hangs up. I'm sorry but if this was in person I would have told him so!
Very rude. Very short with people. I've called serial times throughout the years, doesn't matter if I'm talking to him or his wife. Every time, rude as ever. One time I stopped in. Never felt so unwanted in an establishment as I was at theirs. I asked if he had a list of rentals and he just says, what are you looking for? I told him and he just flat out, I don't have anything. Im really shocked they are still in business. But the market for renting is so demanding, that when you need a place to rent fast as possible, you have to put up with the "A" holes. And Dick Sage knows it and doesn't care how he treats people. Guess he matches his name
I rented from this person years ago and if this Internet page was available then. .I would if given my opinion...which is he doesn't know renter/tenant law. He sides with the owner always even tho he has already agreed with the renter.
unprofessional and rude. I called with inquiry to a property posted only days before I saw it. Dick took three days to respond and when he did he was rude and cut me off at every turn. Bear in mind, my partner and I have excellent references and great renter's history with no pets. He told us we had to be able to move in "right away" and then hung up. I called again and he was rude again, said he had a million people interested. He told me to come to an open house but when I showed up he wasn't there. My partner and I took off early from work to be there and were stunned that when we tried to call him he didn't respond. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want good tenants and good business. My only thought can be that this company is a front for shady dealings or fraudulent to begin with. Don't trust this guy or his company more than a stone's toss.
We were having problems with neighbors parking in our driveway. Dick had a contractor come out to install on short fence along the property line and it magically went away.
Kind, polite and helpful. Dick and his wife have always tried to make sure my needs have been meet. I'm a very happy long time customer (going on 5 years).
