Clean and tidy. Had just what I needed and the self checkout made for a quick and easy trip
I had to wait to order a cake for 20 minutes and then didnt even act like it was a big deal that i had waited that long.
Very rude people in our culture these days.
The employees are great.
I live in Halsey Oregon near by Brownsville, Not Portland , I go to Springfield Oregon, To visit my Parents... So occasionally I'll shop @ Fred's, I've been noticing there selection is very poor! I can never find our items... Fred's prices are much higher than ours... I'll have my mom come up to Albany or Corvallis and she's just amazed
Horrible customer service (aside from the lady I encountered at customer service, she was very nice and apologetic). They label products with the wrong price so that when you get up to cash out you look like an idiot (and they treat you like one as well). Went to buy 2 blankets that were labeled for $7.99, as clearly picture below, and they rang up for $9.98 roughly. I mentioned that they were labeled otherwise and that I could go and grab the price tag or a photo really quick and I was told no and that they would call the manager. After to explaining to the manager, and a couple of "mmhhmm", the cashier said "Yea that's what I thought", hung up and told me I was wrong and asked if I still wanted to purchase them, to which I replied no. I was frustrated because this isn't the first time this has happened at this location. So I went, snapped a picture of the tag with the blankets visible, grabbed two of the ones I had earlier and went to customer service. When I got there, the lady helping me (I'm sorry I can't remember her name because she was very nice) explained that maybe the math was done wrong but that it was clearly labeled $7.99. She honored the price and apologized the the situation. That interaction is the ONLY reason I did not rate this lower. I know it seems silly to make a big deal over a few dollars but it's not that. I work in customer service and I would never dream of talking to a customer who is trying to explain something like that. The cashier and her boss should take notes from the lovely lady in the customer service area.
