My wife and I were interested in a used pickup that they had in stock. We live 75 miles away and wanted to ensure that the vehicle was available to view, drive, and potentially buy. We even had pictures emailed to us in advance and was told it was a pristine 1-owner "old folks" vehicle. Well, we get there and not only is the vehicle no where to be found when we did find it, it's not drivable or detailed. We walked into the service center and witnessed 3 technicians standing around the front hub with one working on it and the other two watching YouTube videos on their phones. We also witnessed deep scratches all over the left side along with a deep scratch and dent in the front fender. Remember, this was supposed to be a pristine 1-owner "old folks" vehicle. We decided to wait for the work to be completed to finally drive it and perhaps get a good price because of the cosmetic damage of this "pristine" vehicle. After an hour, the vehicle was finally ready to drive. We drove it and at the end of the test drive I wanted to look under the hood and the hood won't open. Again, we waited for them to rectify this issue which they couldn't do. We got a text later that evening telling us that they finally got the hood open. While we waited for them to try and get the hood open we went ahead and asked for their best price which ended up being $2500 over Kelley Blue Book. In the end, we drove 150 miles round-trip to see a vehicle that we were told was ready to purchase and pristine but wasn't and even if we wanted to purchase it that evening we couldn't have because it wasn't even detailed and had glass all over the inside from vandalism. Of course, being salesman, they apologized multiple times and assured us that this isn't how Lithia Toyota operates. However, I am a person that judges based on actions and results, not words. Definitely disappointed and frustrated with Lithia Toyota. Both sales and service seem very dysfunctional.

I was not completely pleased with my experience at the Toyota service center when I brought my car in for the 5000 mile oil change. But my last experience, when I brought my new Tacoma in for my 10000 mile oil change, was a completely different experience. Mark, David, and Rafe, were absolutely exceptional. David and race changed my oil and while doing so they were friendly outgoing funny and great at their jobs. During this time I had mentioned to Mark the manager of Lithia Toyota service center, that I was interested in upgrading my tires. He walked me around the lot to show me different options, sizes and styles, while explaining the different volumes that each would produce while driving. It was a truly great experience and I recommend these three guys to anybody looking to service their vehicle.
The guys at Springfield Toyota we're awesome. I don't have great credit so I don't have many options. I also run my own company and don't have a lot of time to deal with anything other than what my company does, build fences. At Springfield Toyota they were kind, understanding, they never made me feel bad because my credit isn't all that great and they did what I asked them to do when I spoke with him on the phone. They got me in a low mileage, late model vehicle that I could afford the payments on. One that wood immediately take the place of my old 1990 Honda Civic that was completely worn out and needing a complete engine rebuild. They didn't give me some strange walkthrough, showing me of a bunch of cars and trucks that I could not afford, they simply picked out one they knew fit the parameters I asked for on the phone and it was ready for me to test drive and buy when I got there. That's how you should run a car dealership. Thanks again Toyota of Springfield, you guys really saved my you know what. I'll be completing the three jobs I was working on when I met you by tomorrow or the following day thanks to that reliable little Chevy you sold me. Everyone who's seen it so far, says it looks great. Thanks again!! I mean it, you're a great car dealership, I wish all of them ran things the way you do.
The friendly service started as soon as you got out of your car. There was someone there to help you with your questions or just to direct you to the person you want to talk to. I came in to buy a car and my salesperson was very helpful. He put the deal together without any hassles. The finance person Eric was very helpful and very knowledgeable. He did his best to help me fit the payments in my budget. When the deal was done he went over everything to make sure that the terms of the contract were exactly what I agreed to...also it didn't take long from the start to walking out the door. I will refer my friends and family to the friendly experience at Lithia. Thank you.
