Previously this was primarily an indoor mall. Now most shops are accessed from outside. The walkway is wide but has very little cover. Did they forget this is Oregon? Not that pleasant on a cold, rainy day. But, they do have a good variety of shops.
I would have scored this higher but I used to go when it was a indoor walkable space. Now, if you want to go to all the stores you are going out in the rain multiple times. And lots of distance has been added. You could find yourself moving your car each time you go to a different store. We enjoy the Hometown Buffet for breakfast.
There are many different shoppes here. Lots of variety of places not found anywhere else in the surrounding areas. I find myself going here more often then not when in the surrounding area. I like the way the shoppes are set up now versus before when it was Gateway Mall. If you want to shop or eat at a general area with variety this is a good place to go.
I love it and how open and nice the shops are. The movie theater is by far the best one because of the recliners. The facility is clean and easy to use. My only complaint is that the shops are outside and when it's nasty outside it's not that great to go shopping in.
We stopped here to grab a birthday present on the way to southern Oregon. Nice mall. It has all the basic shops. I particularly liked the Cabellas. It's convenient from I-5 - pretty easy off and on. That's why we picked it. The other mall in Eugene is a ways off the freeway.
