I had to schedule three months ahead for an appointment here (due to their schedule, not mine), office closed due to weather on a Thursday, answering service said doctor went on vacation instead of clearing backlog on Friday. I was offered an appointment in another three months for a total of a six month wait before ever meeting this doctor.
Dr. Lakhani is one of the most, if the THE most patient and caring doctor I have ever been treated by. As a 23 year old, Type 1 diabetic, I have had my share of physical AND mental issues surrounding my disease and it is very rare that a doctor takes the time to thoroughly address each and every concern - Vipul lakhani not only does that, but he does so with a genuinity and compassion. If I ever have to move or he for some reason leaves my area, I will for sure be stuck with a LESSER care provider. He is top-notch to say the least and I am eternally grateful.
Dr. Lakhani is an excellent endocrinologist. The office being overloaded can make communication & coordination challenging at times. Still, the assistants are quite nice and the office generally as well. There is a need for more available endocrinologists in this area which seems to be a bigger problem.
Dr Lakhani is great. Very kind and knowledgeable and the whole staff is helpful.
