We went in for an early dinner. Host sat everyone that came in all together so there was no privacy and teenagers were throwing napkins all around.
I went in on an hour lunch from my place of employment, five minutes away from them. My friend and I ordered ribs and a medium rare steak, nothing complex given that the ribs must have been pre-cooked and the steak should have taken six to eight minutes at most. This was a Thursday, one in the afternoon, literally just three other guests in, two of whom already had their food when we were seated. We received our food fifty minutes after arrival, without so much as an apology, and had to throw it into boxes to get back to work without eating a bite. Nothing better than microwaved steak hours after you're hungry, right?
I've worked customer service all my adult life, my friend was former head chef in a restaurant in the Brown Palace of Denver, if we'd been responsible for something like that we would have both been tripping over ourselves to make it up to a guest without having to be asked. We didn't have time to ask to talk to management then, obviously, given the time constraints, and attempting to toss up complaint on Twitter in hopes of contact was ignored. Maybe their social media team sucks, maybe they just don't care because they already had our money. Doesn't matter. It went from a place I would have hit regularly to a place I'll never return to.
Been about 3 years since my family ate here and I gotta say it was the best dining experience our family has ever had. Food was amazing, all of it. It came out in a timely manner despite how busy it was. Our waiter, James, was hands down the best waiter I have experienced at any restaurant I have ever been to. Biggest tip I have ever left was tonight. 5 stars all the way around.
We are on a trip out with family. New place time did get away from us. We completely understand it can be frustrating to have someone come in before closing, however this is a restaurant. People should be welcome when they come in even after they close they can kindly let them know our business hours are we would love to have you come back tomorrow.... something to this matter. We came already knowing we were taking our food to go... a quick order. We received eye rolling, food tossed down at us and loads of attitude. Horrible customer service. Do not go here even semi close to closing unless you want to be served with an attitude worse than toddler having a temper tantrum.
We went to outback after seeing their all you care to eat shrimp promotion on TV. Our server, James, took excellent care of us. He was funny and charming and ensured our drinks were always full and that we got our fill of shrimp. We never felt pressured and always felt welcome. Great service and good food!
Ordered appetizer, salad and steaks. Had all of them at the table at one time. When the waitress bought our salads right after she brought the appetizer I even asked her to slow everything down. Then she brought the steaks and I asked her why, she said they were slow and she had no control of it. Food was cold also. I will never go back. IT WAS NOT LIKE ANY OUTBACK I HAD EVER BEEN TO, SHOULD CHANGE THE SIGN TO SIZZLER!
